My name is Courtney and I’m an Event Planner, Personal Stylist, and the founder of Always Ovrdressed, a website where I share my personal style, beauty tips, and lifestyle inspirations.
My passion for fashion and style has been with me since a young age, and I have always been drawn to the latest trends, unique pieces, and timeless classics. In 2014, I started a blog journeying my life as I navigated finding a balance between my “sassy” style and “office-appropriate attire”. I wanted to inspire the Fortune 500 9-5ers and to show that just because you work in the board room, doesn’t mean that your attire has to be boring.
In my mind, being overdressed is not a bad thing at all. What’s the worst case scenario? That you are the best-dressed person in the room? Who cares!

Through Always Ovrdressed, I aim to encourage others to embrace their individuality, express themselves through style, and feel confident in their own skin. I pride myself on staying up-to-date with the latest fashion and beauty trends, while also infusing my signature style into my content. Through my posts and Instagram, I offer my audience an inside look at my personal style while providing helpful tips and tricks to elevate their own fashion game.
In addition to fashion, I also love sharing my experiences and insights on lifestyle topics such as travel, wellness, self-care, and my favorite Amazon finds. I want to create a community of like-minded individuals who share a love for fashion, beauty, and living their best lives. This is a “safe space” for the individuals that get asked “Where are you going all dressed up?” or “What’s the special occasion?” because you rolled into the office ready to conquer a Tuesday dressed to impress.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me, and I invite you to join me on my journey!
A little bit more about me…
I’ve been an event planner since 2014 and have had the privilege of planning and hosting events for some of the country’s top dignitaries, authors, and musicians.
While pursuing my passion for events, another was ignited when I became a Stylist for Stitch Fix in 2018 where I’ve been able to help clients look and feel their best and confident selves. In 2022, I began my journey as an EXPRESS™️ Style Editor. Allowing me to expand my reach and clientele for my Personal Styling services.
